Through developing an understanding of our clients and the markets in which they operate, the Business Analyst position is an ideally situated role to define and implement solutions which meet business needs.

The overall objective of this position is to provide key stakeholders with accurate and timely information to help them make business decisions in an efficient way and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of business strategies and initiatives.  It’s an ideal observation platform to better understand the dynamics of International SOS performance and critical success factors. At the cross road of Business Controlling, Consulting and business development, the position offers large possibilities to grow and evolve within the Group Sales and Marketing. 


  • Creation of analytical frameworks and management tools required to support the development and implementation of sales strategy per business industry and per product
  • Provide intelligence and analysis on external market dynamics performance and risks
  • Fundamental
  • Analysis of key clients to assess market opportunities and financial exposure
  • Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of risk mitigation strategies 
  • On-going monthly analysis of company financial and sales performance vs. budget to highlight budget risks and identify strategies or focus to assist in closing or mitigating against budget risks
  • Support the Monthly and Quarterly Regional Business Reviews process as well as the coordination of the Budget and Forecast processes from a Sales perspective.  



  • Identify clients that should be structured as Global Accounts for Intl.SOS & support development of Global account plans
  • Development of management tools and reporting matrix for Global Accounts
  • Work with functional teams in implementing sales strategies on key clients including (1) client penetration (2) white spacing of product portfolio & geography 
  • Assist in development of outsourcing business operating and pricing models to be pitched to identified clients   
  • CRM 
  • Be a global super user for
  • Develop bespoke reporting, pages and tools for the individual business industries 
  • Communicate through monthly analysis, commentary and developments of the business industry reporting  


  • Identify marketing channels 
  • Assist in developing marketing strategy per business industry
  • Based upon Industry knowledge assist in developing marketing collaterals  


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercially focused analytical role with strong financial and business analysis requirements.
  • Market expertise
  • Knowledge of EMI (Energy, Mining and Infrastructure) (Financial / Macro / Commercial)
  • Market risk analysis for the Industries: EMI  Financial/Analysis expertise
  • Company fundamental & financial analysis (P&L, BS, statement of cash flows)  
  • Business development
  • Market mapping and development of Account & Strategic Plans
  • Marketing experience – both strategic & operational
  • Cross functional engagement & support of Regional and sub-regional Sales teams 
  • IT tools
  • Advanced VBA programming expertise to support development of sales tools, analysis & reporting
  • Experienced user and developer of capable of developing detailed analysis, reports & dashboards 
  • Experience in consulting projects
  • Project management in a complex, matrix and cross-cultural organization 

Work Expereince:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercially focused analytical role with strong financial and business analysis requirements.
  • Experience & expertise must include: Minimum 1-year experience in a services company  


  • Bachelor’s Degree in economics / Finance
  • Educated to master’s degree Level (Economics / Finance)


  • English fluency is a must in speaking and writing.
  • French speaking skills will be highly advantageous
